Alan Pile is our Senior Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing specialist with over 20 years experience implementing Management Information projects to the London Insurance Market. He is Microsoft Certified and has implemented countless BI projects to Insurance Companies covering Lloyd’s of London (Underwriting / Broking), General Insurance and London P&I Clubs).
He has implemented Business Intelligence solutions to Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Actuarial, Delegated Underwriter Authority and Reserving departments.
He has worked in the London Insurance Market since 1995 and is the founder of XLBI (since December 2012). Previously he worked for Room Solutions (7 years) and Moore Stephens Consulting (11 years).
Prior to XLBI he held the role of Senior Business Intelligence Architect at Moore Stephens Consulting who specialised in providing Business Intelligence solutions to the London Insurance Market.
He started his career in 1994 as a Technical Support Analyst for DataEase International. In mid 1995 he joined Room Solutions (NIIT) who provided leading software/services to the London Insurance market. He held a number of roles at Room Solutions and also set-up the Business Intelligence division back on Microsoft SQL Server 7.
